Tom Waite, a volunteer at the Mersea Island Festival, and 5 of his mates rode down the length of Wales to raise money for the Mersea Island Festival Trust.
Over 4 days in May the Super Six rode from Caernarfon to Cardiff using a route named the Welsh C2C which is 221 miles long and more than 80% off road. This varies from bike paths through to technical trail sections.
The route took them through the Snowdonia National Park and foothills of the Moelwynion mountain range; the Cambrian Mountains; across the Brecon Beacons and along the Taff Trail with some climbs in excess of 500 feet.
In completing the challenge the team raised over £1,000 for the Mersea Island Festival Trust - helping the Trust to continue supporting a great range of adventurous - and slightly more sedate - activities.
